MarsKeel Technology, a Division of Mars Metal Company for over 45 years has been creating solutions and supplying marine ballast to a wide range of vessels from racing yachts, commercial boats, navy vessels, and autonomous watercraft.
MarsKeel provides tooling/mold design, lead casting along with select products in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. In addition, we offer full-service CNC machining and metal fabrication services.
Our team utilizes certified control processes and material traceability working with naval architects, system engineers, and defense companies in strict confidentiality.

Custom Cast Ballast
The ballast is cast to the requirements of the customer, Naval Architect and Shipyard. Our casting capacity is from as small as 20 lbs. to over 150,000 lbs. in a single pour.
Custom Designed and Manufactured Parts
Mars Metal offers our customers the added ability to design, engineer and manufacture additional fittings or internal weldments used with or are cast into the ballast to facilitate the movement and installation of the ballast in the vessel. Full engineering, weld specifications and certified welders and weld inspection to ensure the highest quality.
We also offer the ability to design and create ballast so that they maintain their position in the vessel.
