This renowned USA-based yacht manufacturer needed a precision-crafted, custom keel for their 53V sailing yacht. The keel, a crucial component for stability and performance, required exacting standards in weight, durability, and secure overseas transport. The target weight for the keel was specified at 17,023 lbs, with additional requirements for high-grade stainless steel keel bolts.

The keel was cast with a final weight of 17,198 lbs, closely matching the specified 17,023 lbs, ensuring optimal performance for the 53V sailing yacht. To guarantee durability and safety, MarsKeel used 316 stainless steel keel bolts with a 1.25” diameter.

Once completed, the keel was carefully loaded and secured at Mars Metal Company, adhering to strict quality control protocols. It was then shipped overseas in a sea container, ensuring it reached the client in pristine condition and ready for installation.

MarsKeel successfully delivered a high-quality keel that met the precise specifications of the client.
