At MarsKeel™ we can offer you a complete range of custom machining, ranging from keel wings to exotic alloy hex nuts.

Examples of the non-keel foil custom machine parts we regularly produce are:
- rudder blades,
- shafts,
- struts,
- wings,
- wing mounting plates
- internal parts,
- hex nuts,
- studs
- tapered plunger rods
- bolt rack parts.
- casting cores or fixtures
These parts can be produced from any material that can be machined is possible, from armour plate to high strength stainless steel. We can source materials from around the world. If a foreign based material can not be found we will offer you the North American equivalent to it.
The material and part size is limited to 25 ton and approx. 30 feet in length.
We can machine keel wings (The surface tolerance that is offered in the 3D surfacing is 5/1000” or better.), rudder stocks, rudder blades, and shaft receiver sockets, anything that can be used in or on the keel or boat. If you need it but can not buy it we can make it.
The machining can be done to complete of a fabricated part as well. It is very common for us to have to use both fabrication and machining in the same part. Because of the cost of machining it is not used recklessly. We will apply the higher cost, higher accuracy of a CNC machine only where it is needed on any part.
It is very likely that we will want to use a level of machining for a casting fixture, a part required to produce the keel or casting but not actually part of it. It is not just the finished product that might be machined. There are a couple of examples of consumable disposable or reusable machined parts offered below.
We will machine such things as tapered plunger rods for castings, keel bolt plates for the bolt racks can be water jet cut. It is not just a machine shop that we utilize to offer high quality parts, whatever process that can offer the required level of accuracy at the best price and timing is used. Not all machined parts need the accuracy of a CNC mill.
Where the highest level of accuracy is needed it is available to the customer.
We can produce everything from the very largest parts to the smallest, from unseen parts (by the customer), to show pieces for the customer.
